Looking for a boost to achieve individual goals or specialize and work on a specific skill?
Private and Small Group Classes are a great way to do just that.
A Small Group Class with two or three others provides an opportunity to focus on improving your skills within a much smaller group than you would expect in the ongoing core skills classes. If you want some added personal attention and don’t feel you need a Private Class, a Small Group Class may suit you.
Why does Flipside offer Private and Small Group Classes?
Although all Flipside’s classes are designed to provide individual attention within a group setting, from beginners right through to Advanced and Performance Troupe, sometimes a student may be motivated to progress at a faster pace or may have a desire to work on specific skills. Working with a trainer in a private class or small group class can give a student the boost he or she is looking for to achieve individual goals or to specialize and work on specific skills.
How do Private and Small Group Classes differ from other Flipside classes?
Ongoing Flipside Circus classes are a great way to learn the essential core circus skills to gain an overall understanding of circus (tumble, mini tramp, group acrobatics, handstands, hoop dive). Participants also: benefit from improved confidence levels, gain social skills, enjoy the fun, learn group awareness and team building, experience the joy of learning new skills, increase energy levels and meet new people.
A Small Group Class with up to four others provides an opportunity to focus on improving your skills within a much smaller group than you would expect in the ongoing core skills classes. If you want some added personal attention and don’t feel you need a Private Class a Small Group Class may suit you.
Training one-on-one in a Private Class, you will receive personal attention to your needs, which helps tailor your training to advance your skills in a focused environment. If you’re not sure who you’d like to assist your skills development in a one-on-one Private Class, just ask us for a recommendation.
Are Private classes necessary to improve skills?
Private classes may seem an expensive way to learn. Consider your own objectives and personal goals and ask yourself how much you want to get out of your training. In one private session, you will learn up to 4 times the amount you will learn in a group class, depending on your strength and ability. One private class a month will greatly boost your skill level. Your ongoing class remains a place where you can focus on the core circus and group skills, with an added boost!
All private and small group lessons must be booked in advance, either one at a time or a series. If you are thinking about taking a number of lessons it is recommended to book well in advance with your desired trainer as trainers have limited hours available to teach private lessons.
How much do private lessons cost?
1 student, private lesson for one hour - $85
2 students, one hour lesson - $75 per student
3 students (small group), one hour lesson - $65 per student
