ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
BECOME A RESIDENT ARTIST
Flipside Circus is celebrating the opening of its new home, the Brisbane Circus Centre in 2023. We want to throw open the doors of the Brisbane Circus Centre for circus artists and creators to train, play, experiment, test, and showcase new work.
Flipside Circus residencies offer development, rehearsal, and presentation space at the Brisbane Circus Centre. Our 2023 supported residencies include up to $20,000 to help realise your project.
We are hosting two supported residencies for independent artists and independent/small companies and collectives. Flipside extends an invitation nationally to hear from emerging independent circus companies and individual circus artists to apply and become a resident artist.
Applications closed Sunday 3 September 2023. Watch this space for the next round of applications.
The Artist in Residency Program is supported by the Queensland Government through the Restart Investment to Sustain and Expand (RISE) Fund.
