Congratulations to our senior Performance Troupe artists on last month’s sold-out show – Clandestine: The Cabaret.

Clandestine turned the Brisbane Circus Centre into an intimate cabaret venue and showcased the skills of our young artists. Our troupe are now rolling up their sleeves working on skills and building routines ahead of our major production – Maybe It’s Only Us later this year.

This month, Flipside also welcomes our new Head of Circus, Jian Nie. Jian brings a huge amount of experience as a performer and teacher. See more below.

This 13 and 14 September is Circus Weekends. A great opportunity for the entire Flipside Circus school to show off the skills they’ve been working on this year; there’ll be food, drinks, and a lot of circus.

Earlier this month we hosted our first Sunday Funday as part of the Waterways program with 28 participants. Waterways supports young First Nations artists to engage with circus.
