Customer Service Assistant
Part-time for 20-30 hours per week (to be negotiated with the candidate). Some weekend and evening work as required.
Flipside Circus is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to help support our vibrant community of young artists, families, and circus lovers at the Brisbane Circus Centre.

About the Role
The Customer Service Assistant supports the Customer Service Manager to maintain strong relationships with clients, students, community members, and stakeholders.
You’ll be the welcoming face of Flipside — managing front-of-house services, handling phone and email inquiries, supporting class enrolments, and keeping our reception and public spaces running smoothly.
This position also provides administrative support to other team members and plays a key role in ensuring that every visitor, participant, and artist enjoys a positive experience at the Brisbane Circus Centre.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver front-of-house service for students, families, artists, and community members
- Manage phone, email, and in-person inquiries, directing questions to relevant staff
- Process class enrolments, free trials, bookings, and payments
- Maintain reception, office, and common spaces to a high standard
- Support the sale and display of Flipside merchandise
- Assist with community events, performances, and fundraising activities
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of Flipside’s programs and activities
- Contribute to establishing the Brisbane Circus Centre as Queensland’s home for circus arts
