CIRCUS TRAINERS

Flipside Circus is seeking circus trainers to join the team as we prepare to return to the Brisbane Circus Centre. We’re looking for enthusiastic trainers of all experience levels to teach fun and engaging classes for all ages. Whatever your field – aerials, acrobatics, tumbling, juggling and manipulation – we want to hear from you!

Associate Artist opportunity

VENUE COORDINATOR (ASSOCIATE ARTIST)

The Venue Coordinator (Associate Artist) role helps deliver key projects working as an assistant producer and stage manager as required.

In 2025 the role will have a focus on venue coordination, assistant producing (gigs at the Brisbane Circus Centre), front of house, and duty management, with the potential to also participate in the Trainee Trainer program (if applicable) and will include some assistance with social media.

TRAINEE TRAINERS

Become a circus trainer with Flipside's Trainee Trainer Program. This is an extension course for young circus artists (aged 14 and over) to learn and develop their skills as a circus trainer along with necessary venue and admin skills with a group of peers. By working with professional circus trainers at Flipside, Trainee Trainers build the skills and confidence necessary to lead circus workshops and classes. Trainees Trainers are equipped with the practical tools and hands-on experience needed to thrive in Australia's circus industry.

Please note participants will be required to be available during weekends.

Flipside Circus is a not-for-profit organisation providing creative opportunities for children and young people in the exciting world of circus. This is a huge task and we couldn’t do it without the tireless efforts of our volunteers. If you would like to volunteer your time and skills to work with a great bunch of people, please contact us.
