There’s been a lot of activity at the Brisbane Circus Centre the last couple of weeks; the work to replace the roof is well underway and scaffolding is nearly complete along MacArthur Avenue ready to repaint the building exterior.

We’re also preparing to re-install our rigging systems – and generally getting excited about returning to the venue soon!

Thanks to our partners at Northshore, our Term 3 programs are running out of the Workshops and Maker Spaces (just to the east of the Brisbane Circus Centre). Thank you to everyone who braved the weather during last week’s cold snap. We hope to move from here back to our venue sometime next month.

Congratulations to our first Artist-in-Resident, Chimera Arts, who staged their creative development showing at the Judith Wright Arts Centre last week. It was a great success and we’re looking forward to working with the company again on a brand new project later this year.

Speaking of Artists-in-Residence, Collective Circus’ brand new show Stir The Pot opens next week and will be supported by artists from our Step Ups Performance Troupe. There’s only three shows, please book here.
